This session will introduce attendees to the concept of posthuman inquiry, “a theoretical perspective that aims to address our co-constitutive entanglements with nonhuman entities.” We will explore specific ways in which educators can treat technologies not just as objects or tools, but as partners in the educational process that encourage us to reconsider the human/technology dichotomy. With a focus on artificial intelligence, attendees will be invited to consider and even attempt to answer the question: are our learners posthuman?
