Celia Coochwytewa has a vast background and experience in instructional design, consulting, developing, and delivering innovative and proficient technology-enhanced products and experiences in an education environment. At Arizona State University, she has worked with faculty to design and develop engaging, interactive, and effective experiences for students in all learning spaces. Additionally, Celia has led the development and coordination of faculty consulting needs around instructional technology and course design in collaboration with program and team stakeholders.

Cameron Wiles has over 5 years of expertise in technical documentation, training, and tech support for faculty, staff, and students. He is committed to improving the user experience for websites, software, and physical spaces by developing simple, pleasant experiences for users. Cameron currently works at Arizona State University where he collaborates with faculty and staff, as well as furniture and technology vendors, to design innovative learning spaces.

During this session, we will explore how fostering student and faculty engagement can be accomplished by building physical learning spaces to meet the evolving educational needs of higher education institutions. Using experience gained during the pandemic, Arizona State University has redesigned and developed learning spaces to support multiple course modalities. Come and learn about how we designed learning spaces that support instructors by providing tools, flexibility, and space that encourage exploration with instructional approaches.
