When it comes to the educational technologies used in your classroom or institution, what’s missing? As a designer and teacher of edtech courses for faculty, I regularly return to what I call our “app gaps.” As faculty review the latest technology that interests them, I also ask them to pause and consider a wider range of pedagogical needs that might be addressed through emerging edtech. In this workshop, we will also reflect on our favorite eLearning apps and then dive into a broader consideration of how we are using edtech to meet the emerging needs of students and teachers.
