During this session the presenter will overview key challenges instructors face when assessing student learning and what specifications grading can offer to remedy these challenges. Attendee will hear specific examples of implementation of specifications grading in traditional face-to-face and online courses. Attendees will also apply the knowledge of specifications grading to their own course to identify strengths and challenges of implementation.
Darshon Reed is the Associate Dean of the College of Health & Behavioral Sciences and Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Central Arkansas. Dr. Reed has been teaching for 16 years and teaches undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Psychology.
