Rebecca Eunmi Haslam, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Education at Saint Michael’s College where she teaches courses focused on antiracism, culturally sustaining pedagogy, critical theory, and integrated curriculum at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Prior to joining Saint Michael’s College, Rebecca was an elementary teacher, instructional coach, curriculum developer, and PreK-12 equity coach. Her research interests include using equity audits to assess and improve school culture and curriculum for students of the global majority, universal design for equity, and racial identity development among pre-service teachers.

Claudine Bedell, Ed.D. is an Associate Professor at Saint Michael’s College where she teaches foundations, inquiry, and curriculum courses in the Education Department. She is co-director of the Vermont Educator Preparation Inquiry Collaborative. Prior to her work in higher education, she was a middle school science and language arts teacher. Claudine’s research interests include personalized learning, teacher preparation, and classroom-based and large scale assessment.

Amy Saks Pavese, Ph.D. is the Director of Graduate Education and Co-Coordinator of the Master of Arts in Teaching Program at Saint Michael’s College in Vermont. She teaches educational foundations and the student teaching seminar, and supervises student teachers. Before becoming a teacher educator in 2003, Amy taught middle school math and science in Texas and New Jersey. Her research interests include teacher identity formation and preparing teacher candidates to support all learners in our culturally diverse classrooms and schools.

Amy Knight, M.Ed is an instructor of Education at St. Michael’s College and the special education concentration coordinator of the M.Ed program.  She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses that focus on literacy and language development for students with disabilities, dyslexia, special education assessment and evaluation, special education law and ethical practices, and inclusive practices for general educators.  Prior to her work in higher education, she was a middle school special educator.  Her research interests include dyslexia, trauma-informed teaching practices and protective factors, and the impact of bias when working with individuals with different abilities.

Becky Wigglesworth is an Instructor in the Education Department at Saint Michael’s College, where she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in literacy.  She also coordinates the literacy M.Ed. program, teaches the program’s inquiry-based capstone class, and supervises student teachers. Prior to teaching at Saint Michael’s, Becky taught middle and high school English and language arts. Her research interests include multiple and multi-modal literacies and the relationship between equity and literacy.
