The COVID-19 pandemic has acted like a time machine to the field of distance teaching and learning. Suddenly, students and educators have found themselves thrust into a future where all are online, but perhaps not as connected as they would wish. We find ourselves teaching via laptop webcams, but our gaze is elsewhere – we are not eye to eye with our students. In this engaging session, learn how to affordably construct a teleprompter setup at home. You will see how effective use of a teleprompter will both improve the quality and effectiveness of video communication, both live and prerecorded.
